The Malibu Creek State Park is an 8,215-acre park established in 1974. This state park was opened to the public in 1976 and preserves the Malibu Creek canyon in the Santa Monica Mountains. Where Is The Malibu Creek State Park Located?

The Malibu Creek State Park is located at 1925 Las Virgenes Road, CA 91302. It is located 4 miles south of highway 101 on Malibu Canyon Road/Las Virgenes. Driving to the state park? Exit on Las Virgenes from Highway 101, Go South towards the ocean and continue straight. Once you have gone a little past the Mulholland Drive intersection on the right you will find the park entrance. 

There is parking available. Fees will vary depending on the amount of time you are planning to stay at the park. 

What To Do At The Malibu Creek State Park?

Malibu Creek State Park is filled with various opportunities for hiking, fishing, horseback riding, bird watching, rock climbing, and mountain biking. You can bring your dogs, friends, and family to enjoy the gorgeous scenery that the park has to offer and have a picnic in one of the designated picnic areas. 

Looking to stay longer you can make a reservation for one of the family or group campsites and have a weekend of camping with your loved ones. You can take part in swimming, geocaching or take a guided tour of the park. There is so much to do and see at the park it is sure to become a favorite destination.
