Los Angeles Live Steamers Railroad Museum
Experience the excitement and history of railroading at the non-profit, all-volunteer Los Angeles Live Steamers Railroad Museum. Founded in 1956 by a group of train enthusiasts, the museum educates the public on railroad history. The live steam, gas-mechanical and electric railroad technologies can be seen in actual operation. The majority of everything in the facility, including the trains, was built by members of the museum, all of whom take pride in constantly improving the railroad.

What To Do At The Railroad Museum?
Train rides are offered every Sunday, except for certain holidays from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, weather permitting. It’s suggested that each rider make a small donation to ride the incredible machines. During your ride through the park, you’ll notice three miniature towns, two water towers, a roundhouse, three train stations, a coal tipple, two control towers, and other building displays. You’ll want to bring a little extra spending money so after your ride, you can stop by the Souvenir window for T-shirts, pins, wooden train whistles, and more!
