Los Angeles Live Steamers Railroad Museum

What To Do At The Railroad Museum?

Train rides are offered every Sunday, except for certain holidays from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, weather permitting. It’s suggested that each rider make a small donation to ride the incredible machines. During your ride through the park, you’ll notice three miniature towns, two water towers, a roundhouse, three train stations, a coal tipple, two control towers, and other building displays. You’ll want to bring a little extra spending money so after your ride, you can stop by the Souvenir window for T-shirts, pins, wooden train whistles, and more!

Other Things To Do Nearby

While in the area, the kids will love the Los Angeles Zoo and its wide variety of animal species. If time allows, future astronomers will appreciate the Griffith Observatory’s rooftop telescopes. If sightseeing is what you prefer, Los Angeles day tours are offered so you can take in such places as the Sunset Strip, Beverly Hills, and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
