Where Is The Attraction Located?
The Cave of Munits is located at 24501 Vanowen Street, West Hills, CA 91307. Take the 101 Freeway to exit 29 for Valley Circle Boulevard and the destination will be in 4 miles. Once arrived, you will park on the side of the road and begin your hike! If you think you may be lost, look for the Los Angeles City Park sign. It will be labeled as “El Scorpion Canyon Park” and you’ll know you’ve made it!
What To Do At The Attraction?
Once you arrive at the Cave of Munits, take some time to explore! Starting at El Scorpion Park you will find an interesting vertical cave. Making it up out the top of the cave will lead you towards an off-trail hike to Castle Peak. Here you will witness a once in a lifetime view of the San Fernando Valley. This hike gives you a whole lot to see in just a small radius. You will pass between Los Angeles county and Ventura County in just 2 short miles. Once you’ve found the Cave of Munits you will need to hoist yourself up inside to start exploring.

Located only a short 19 minutes away, depending on time of day and traffic. It is well worth the drive to go exploring in the beautiful nature out in the Cave of Munits.
