This reserve is a bird watchers paradise, as there are dozens of pieces of birds to photograph and record. The Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve offers year round nature tours throughout the reserve.
What To Do After You Visit The Reserve
After a trip to the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, you can visit the Bolsa Chica State Beach for a quick dip in the water after a long hike. Down the street, you can grab a bite to eat at Seasalt Beachside Burger, a quaint little seaside restaurant with many options to chose from, including their infamous Brisket Cheese Fries. Pets are not allowed at the reserve, but just down the street, there is a dog beach to let your furry friend play. You can spend time wearing out your pup by playing fetch, running or even swimming with them. If you want to travel a little further, you can go to the Long Beach City Beach in the Belmont district.
