With so many color and finish variations, deciding on what type of countertops you want to install should be done with patience and precision. Visit kitchen showrooms and get some different ideas. Speak with friends and family who’ve taken on a similar remodel and get their opinion.

Flooring

If you plan on going all the way down to your slab or subfloor with your renovation, you’ll want to also take the time to shop out flooring. Depending on the size of your space you can possibly find the flooring that’s low in stock on sale. You should also think about the likelihood of spills and traffic so you’ll want to opt for flooring that can withstand water and high foot traffic over its lifetime.
